about

Cult of the Half moon was a kinda concept record that was inspired by the sci-fi folk tale Rip Van Winkle by Washington Irving. During the short story the main character falls asleep in the hills for 40 years and during his dream like journey stumbles upon the "Crew of the Half Moon". The album lyrics were inspired by this symbolism of half truths, altered reality and a general mistrust of society and authority figures.

Cult of the Half Moon was recorded in Dreamhouse studios in Toronto by Alexandre Bonenfont. The album was engineered by Crispin Day and mastered by Jon Drew.

Invasions were:

Alexander Zen - Rhythm, Vox
Alex Roberts - Lead guit, b. Vox
Matt Buckberrough - Bass, b. Vox
Danny Miles - Drums and Percussion.

Extra piano, organ and synth were provided by -

Patrick Greenaway
Jay Holy

Original Pinocchio Album art was provided by the Italian Columbus Centre in Toronto.

All songs written by Alexander Zen and arranged by Invasions.
